Measures to support accessibility

Rachel Allen Dillon takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of The Art of Learning Design:

  • Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.

  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.

 

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Art of Learning Design is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known limitations for The Art of Learning Design:

  1. Portfolio: Some videos in the Portfolio don't provide closed captioning because It is difficult to add within the snapshot. Looking for ways to post and embed YouTube videos with closed captioning. Email art@racheldillon.com with questions.
